TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - The Arizona Cardinals have promoted Steve Keim to general manager.

The 40-year-old Keim had been the team's vice president for player personnel. He joined the Cardinals in 1999 as a scout and was promoted to the player personnel position last year.

Keim replaces Rod Graves, who was fired along with coach Ken Whisenhunt the day after the season ended.

The team is still searching for a head coach, with plans to interview Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden later this week.

The team has already interviewed Cardinals defensive coordinator Ray Horton and Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy.
