MILLERSVILLE -- Millersville head football coach Greg Colby has resigned to coach the defensive line at Illinois.

Colby, a 1975 graduate of Illinois, posted an 11-44 record in five seasons at Millersville. He previously worked as an assistant at Illinois from 1988-95.

Millersville says it will conduct a national search to find a new head coach. Defensive coordinator Ron Rankin has been named interim coach of the Marauders.
