Cumberland Valley, Mechanicsburg advance to Mid-Penn girls' soccer final

MECHANICSBURG - Cumberland Valley and Mechanicsburg will meet Thursday for the Mid-Penn girls' soccer title after posting wins over Trinity and Northern, respectively.

Mechanicsburg rallied to beat the Polar Bears 3-2 in double overtime. Natalie Zelenky scored both the game-tying goal and the game-winner for the Wildcats.

Jen Falconer scored Cumberland Valley's first goal in a 2-0 win over the Shamrocks.

The championship game is Thursday at Northside Elementary School in Cumberland County.
