HARRISBURG -- Do you bring a glove to the park when you go see a baseball game?

Dustin Habecker of Lebanon County used his to make an amazing catch of a foul ball at a Phillies game and wound up on a national sports network.

Habecker, who was sitting in the second row of Friday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks, leaped over a few seats to make a diving catch of a ball hit by Philadelphia's Kevin Frandsen.

His catch was later featured on the Phillies' website and was a top play on ESPN's SportsCenter.

"It's sort of astounding," said Habecker, who graduated in June from ELCO High School, located in Myerstown. "I've watched many clips on the internet of good catches; never been in one of those clips, of course.

"It's sort of breathtaking to see yourself on Phillie.com making a catch and having the announcers talking about you."

Habecker played left field for the ELCO baseball team and was a two-year starter.

He received lots of text messages and phone calls the following day after being seen on ESPN.
