GREENVILLE, N.C. - Cedar Crest product Derek Fisher went 3-for-5 and blasted a 3-run home run as No. 25 Virginia rallied to knock off East Carolina 13-9 Saturday at Clark-LeClair Stadium.

The Cavaliers (2-0) trailed 4-0 after five innings before scoring the next 13 runs of the game.

Fisher, a sophomore, finished with 5 RBI. According to Virginia's athletics website, he launched his 3-run home run in the ninth inning into the strong wind in right-centerfield.

It was his first home run of the season.

Sunday's game between UVA and ECU has already been cancelled because of cold and inclement weather forecasted for the area. The game will not be rescheduled.
