GRANTHAM -- Nicky Hess scored 13 first half points and Dori Gyori finished with a game-high 20 points Wednesday in No. 5 Messiah College's 67-58 win over the Pride of Widener at Brubaker Auditorium.

Hess (four) and Taylor Miller (five) combined for nine of the Falcons' buckets from three-point land; each player scored 16 points in the victory.

Gyori scored 14 points in the second half.

“It feels great to get this win,” Messiah head coach Mike Miller said, according to the school's website. “Obviously, we're in the 'driver's seat' in the conference, and that's a good place to be in.”

Messiah moved to 15-1 overall and 9-0 in the Commonwealth Conference.

Eastern York graduate Kate Dellinger scored 15 points for Widener.
