HARRISBURG -- Zelous Wheeler homered twice and Bowie pounded out 13 hits in a 9-3 win over the Harrisburg Senators Friday at Metro Bank Park.

Wheeler homered in the second and eighth innings for the Bay Sox, respectively. Bowie broke the game open against Ryan Tatusko, scoring three runs in the seventh and three more in the eighth.

Bowie snapped a six-game losing streak with the victory.

Rob Gilliam started for Harrisburg allowed eight hits in six innings, but surrendered just three runs, while striking out five.Jesus Valdez had three hits in the game for the Senators.
