HERSHEY, Pa. -- Lebanon Valley College allowed three goals in the first ten minutes of the first period Tuesday and lost its outdoor game to Delaware 6-2 at Hersheypark Stadium.

Mark Zeszut, Connor Moore, and Marcello DeAngelis each came away with goals in the first ten minutes of the Dutchmen Outdoor Classic for the Blue Hens as both clubs skated around in near-zero temperatures.

Jimmy McNally scored off a faceoff in the first minute of the second period to put the Dutchmen (19-4) on the board. LVC picked up its second and final goal of the night with three minutes to play in the period on a wrister by Dylan Kapp.

Christian Tasker also scored midway through the second period for Delaware (18-8-1).

Heavy winds and a barrage of slapshots during pregame warm-ups caused enough damage to the glass behind the southside goal to force a 40-minute delay at the start of the game.
