Mike and Angela Hoddinott lost nearly everything in a fire that destroyed their home, even the two family pets.  To make matters worse, it happened less than two weeks after Christmas.

The Hoddinott's community gave back, especially at their 8 year-old daughter Giana's school the Annunciation Blessed Virgin Mary in McSherrystown.  A fundraiser where students donated money to wear purple on Fridays brought in more than two thousand dollars for the cause.

A family beyond humbled by the outpouring of support, also found solace in watching their favorite team.  The Baltimore Ravens road to the Super Bowl, along with the help from BVM finally gave the Hoddinott's a reason to smile.
