Lower Dauphin, Penn Manor advance to field hockey final

EXETER TOWNSHIP -- Hunter Bracale's game-winning goal in double-overtime lifted Lower Dauphin to a 2-1 win Tuesday over Emmaus in the PIAA-AAA field hockey semifinals at Exeter Township.

The Falcons will meet Penn Manor in the state final on Saturday at Whitehall. The Comets defeated last year's state champion Hempfield, 3-2.

Anna Smuda scored Lower Dauphin's first goal roughly six minutes into the second half.
