HARRISBURG -- Has the Harrisburg Stampede signed the master of the one-handed grab?

The Stampede has signed Prentice Quince, a wide receiver who somehow makes an amazing one-handed grab in a YouTube video found by CBS 21 News Sports Director Jason Bristol.

In the video, Quince leaps and snags a 5-yard pass with one hand for a touchdown while playing for the Fayetteville (N.C.) Force.

The one-handed catch video was uploaded in 2010. He played last season for the American Indoor Football champions, the Cape Fear (N.C.) Heroes.

Quince, a native of Boynton Beach, Florida, could not be reached for comment.

"Prentice is a player with quickness, speed and seems to just find the open (space)," said Stampede coach Bernie Nowotarski in a statement.

Quince attended Tallahassee Community College.

"When Prentice messaged me I was shocked that he asked if he could come play for us in Harrisburg," added Nowotarski. "Over the last 4 or 5 seasons this kid has probably caught more touchdowns against us than any other receiver."

The Stampede holds its first open tryout this Saturday, January 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sports City Harrisburg.

SI: Do athletics still have too much power at Penn State?
At a time when safety in football has never been more scrutinized, changes in Penn State University’s once-exemplary medical care, just 18 months after the biggest scandal in college sports history, contradicts recent promises by the school to reign in the athletic department and operate transparently, according to a special report in this week’s SPORTS ILLUSTRATED by senior writer David Epstein.
