HERSHEY - Bishop McDevitt's Terrance White scored a 6-4 upset win over the top seed from Section 2 at the District 3-AA quarterfinals on Friday in Hershey. White's win -- an important victory for the relatively new Crusader wrestling program -- pushes him into Saturday's semifinals at Hersheypark Arena.
Other Class AA winners in the quarterfinals: Hanover's Ian Brown (126) and Derek Wolford (195); as well as Biglerville's Trevor Stover at 285.
Tanner Shoap (113) and Garrett Hammond (145), both from Chambersburg, advanced to the Class AAA quarterfinals. Central Dauphin's Tyson Dippery and Cumberland Valley's Patrick Duggan each moved on at 126 lbs., as well.
The Class AAA quarterfinals will be held later Friday night.
