STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) - Somehow, some way, there's no letdown for Penn State away from Happy Valley.
The Nittany Lions have had three blowout wins in their three Big Ten road games. The latest came last week with a 34-9 victory over struggling Purdue.
Linebacker Michael Mauti says the team is playing well on the road in part because there are fewer distractions. Players also say coach Bill O'Brien and his assistants have them focused and prepared.
But Penn State (6-3, 4-1) faces its biggest road test yet with a game Saturday at No. 18 Nebraska.
Standout defensive tackle Jordan Hill is listed as day-to-day after hurting his left knee last week. Mauti said Hill is "itching to play" Nebraska, though O'Brien has said a final determination won't be made until later this week.
