HARRISBURG -- Penn State senior defensive tackle Jordan Hill has undergone a minor knee surgery will make a full recovery after a few weeks of rehabilitation, CBS 21 News Sports Director Jason Bristol has learned.
Hill, who was named first-team All-Big Ten earlier this week, had a scope done on his left knee; the same one he injured in a game on November 3 against Indiana.
He confirmed Wednesday night that he had the procedure done. Hill is a graduate of Steel-High.
Hill was at his best even when he wasn't 100%; he was named the conference's Defensive Player of the Week after recording a career-high 12 tackles in Penn State's overtime win Saturday against Wisconsin. He also had two sacks in his final college game.
He finished fourth on the team this season with 64 tackles, second with 4.5 sacks and tied for third with 8.5 tackles for loss. Hill also had one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
