HARRISBURG -- Center Akeem Washington finished with 29 points and 12 rebounds as the Harrisburg Horizon defeated the 'Schuylkill Firedogs' 95-94 in an intrasquad exhibition game Sunday at Manny Weaver Gym.

The Horizon's scheduled opponent, the New Jersey Bullets, forfeited the game. The Horizon then split its team in two; with one side wearing the uniforms of the now-defunct Schuylkill Firedogs of the Eastern Basketball Alliance.

Trey Sharpe also posted a double-double with 10 points and 12 assists.

The game also marked the debut of 6'9" center Elijah Obade. He's been added to the Horizon roster after recently finishing his career at Millersville and being named PSAC East Defensive Player of the Year. He was also voted to the All-PSAC East First Team.

Harrisburg (3-1) faces the New York Wizards on Sunday.
