LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP -- The tribe is on a roll.
The Susquehanna Township Indians midget football team is 11-0 and has outscored its opponents this season by a combined score of 383-0.
"I knew we were going to be good, but this has definitely exceeded all expectations," said coach Lawrence Holley.
The squad, which is made up middle school students, will be playing in the CFA National Conference Super Bowl on Sunday against the Seven Sorrows Eagles. The game will be played at Susquehanna Township High School at 4 p.m.
"I'm very proud of my team because we made it far; and we keep pushing (each other)," said Jalik Smith, a wide receiver.
The Indians defeated Seven Sorrows earlier this season, 35-0.
"I'm just ready to play; I think we're going to do good," added running back Trael Seegars. "I think we're going to bring home the trophy."
