HERSHEY - Bermudian Springs' Tristan Sponseller improved to 40-1 on Friday with a quarterfinal triumph at the District 3-AA wrestling championships at Hersheypark Arena.
Sponseller is the top seed from Section One at 170 lbs.
In Class AAA, Chambersburg's Dawson Peck (285) advanced to the semifinals with a quick :30 pin in the quarterfinals. Middletown's Zach Ulerick (113); Cedar Cliff's Max Good (132); Cumberland Valley's T.C. Warner (145) also made it to Saturday's semifinals.
Trinity's Devon Bentley (106) and Robbie Moretz (145) of Halifax were impressive in Class AA and the final four in their respective weight classes, as well.
