Senators drop series finale to Richmond 8-2

HARRISBURG -- Richmond pitcher Craig Westcott homered and allowed only one run in seven innings Wednesday in the Flying Squirrels' 8-2 win over Harrisburg at Metro Bank Park.

Westcott homered in the second inning, giving Richmond a 3-1 edge. He scattered six hits, walked two and struck out one batter.

Joel Weeks hit a two-out three-run in the sixth to break the game open giving Richmond a 6-1 lead.

Jeff Kobernus, Sean Nicol and Jesus Valdez all had two hits for the Senators.
