Senators snap 5-game losing skid at Binghamton

BINGHAMTON -- The Harrisburg Senators snapped their five-game losing streak Wednesday night with a 3-2 win over the Binghamton Mets at NYSEG Stadium.

The Senators broke through with three straight two-out hits in the second inning to take a 2-0 lead. Justin Bloxom doubled; Devin Ivany followed with a run-scoring single and took second on an error. Jonathan Tucker later singled home Ivany.

Harrisburg scored again in the sixth. Zack Walters tripled in James Skelton, giving the Senators a 3-1 lead. Binghamton scored its second run on a throwing error in the seventh inning.

Major leaguer Chien-Ming Wang will pitch the final game of the series on Thursday for the Senators.
