HARRISBURG -- The Harrisburg Stampede has signed defensive back Chris Golder, who attended training camp last year with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Golder was an NCAA Division II honorable mention All-American at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo.

He signed with the Argos last May and was released on June 20.

Golder also played one season at West Virginia Wesleyan and attended Ventura (Ca.) College where he earned first-team all-state and all-region honors.

Harrisburg head coach Bernie Nowotarski also says the team has added Junior Taylor, a 6'9," 350-pound offensive lineman from the Baltimore area.
