PITTSBURGH (AP) - Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin would rather try and fix his team's problems than wonder what went wrong in 2012.

The Steelers finished 8-8 and missed the playoffs for the first time in three years after a 2-5 slide over the last seven weeks that sent them tumbling out of the postseason. Tomlin said everyone in the organization bears some responsibility for the fall and he anticipates some tough decisions in the coming months.

The coach called the offense - which struggled in the second half of the year - the team's Achilles Heel and added injuries at several key positions played a factor.

Wide receiver Antonio Brown says the Steelers were distracted by off the field issues, including Mike Wallace's holdout and the relationship between quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and offensive coordinator Todd Haley.
