HERSHEY -- Alex Smith scored two goals 16 seconds apart in Team Shenk Athletic's 12-5 victory over Team Environmental Recovery Group in the first of two CPIHL All-Star games played Wednesday at Hersheypark Stadium.

Shenk was coached by former Hershey Bears goaltender Freddy Cassivi; Mark Freer, who once played center for the Bears, led Team Environmental Recovery Group.

Smith, who plays for Susquehannock/Kennard-Dale, notched his third goal of the night in the second period to give Team Shenk a 5-0 lead and then added a fourth just 16 seconds later to make it 6-0.

Team Hockey Plus, coached by Dave Fenyves, beat Team MWG Transport, guided by Mitch Lamoureux, 8-3 in the evening's second all-star game.
