YORK -- The York Revolution has signed former major league outfielder Bobby Kielty, who last played in the big leagues in 2007 with the Boston Red Sox.

Kielty made his major league debut with the Minnesota Twins in 2001 and has played in parts of seven big league seasons with the Twins, A's, Blue Jays and Boston.

The two-time defending Atlantic League champions have struggled this season; York is in last place in the Freedom Division with a 8-14 record.

He played for the Tucson Padres -- San Diego’s top affiliate -- last season in the Triple-A Pacific Coast League.

Kielty, 35, has primarily played in Triple-A since 2008; with the top farm clubs of Boston (Pawtucket), Minnesota (Rochester) and the New York Mets (Buffalo), respectively.
