CBS 21 News is getting more details about a swine flu outbreak in the West Shore School District.
It's a story you saw first, on CBS 21 News at five Monday. On Tuesday, a school district spokesperson said no more kids have been reported sick.
Monday, the school district sent a letter home to parents, saying that five Lemoyne Middle School students tested positive for the H1N1 virus. Now, the custodians at the school district are working overtime to get rid of any trace of the bug. That gives parents, like Red Mill Elementary PTO President Mandy Caron, piece of mind.
" I was shocked that it was in our area. But like I said , the West Shore School District is on the ball. That day, it (the letter) got sent home," said Mandy Caron, Red Mill Elementary PTO President.
