American Quilters Society Quilt Show in Lancaster through Saturday

One of the biggest quilting shows in the country is happening now in Lancaster County.

The American Quilters Society Quilt Show and Contest is at the Lancaster Convention Center.  People from more than 40 states and 7 countries are in town for the event.

"What tends to draw the crowd is generally when people think of a quilt, they think of a blanket. now if we were putting on a show with a bunch of blankets hanging on the wall, nobody would want to come out. these really elevated and demonstrate the artistic level quilting required." Said Tim Langlitz, Marketing Director of the American Quilter's Society.

The quilt show runs through Saturday.
