In Dauphin County - 40 companies and more than 100 people vied for a share of two million dollars that could be used for biotechnology investment.

“It is really vital to our local economy to provide access to capital for technology companies because they are creating jobs in the areas of biotechnologies, clean technologies, nanotechnologies and even light manufacturing. Those jobs are the jobs of the future."
 
The Hershey Center for Applied Research hosted today's event in Dauphin County.
