Blaze heavily damages two homes in Cumberland County

Officials in Cumberland County are investigating a two alarm blaze that heavily damaged two homes.

Flames broke out just before two this morning in the first block of Rustic Drive in Southampton Township.

It appears the fire started on the porch of one home and quickly spread to a neighboring home.

Officials say smoke detectors alerted both families who were home at the time.

We're told some animals are unaccounted for and that a firefighter suffered minor injuries from debris.

At this time, the fire does not appear to be suspicious.
