If you're a Wheel of Fortune fan, you saw that we just had a contest to take viewers to Madison Square Garden to watch live taping of Wheel of Fortune.  Tuesday was the day,  as our CBS21 winners got the VIP treatment and a chance to see the shows live that will broadcast the week of May 20th.

As part of Wheel's 30 anniversary shows, 20 episodes that you will see in May, were recorded at the theater in Madison Square Garden.

Sixteen CBS 21 contest winners were there, including Iverna and Kim. "Very excited, couldn't believe it, I thought it was a joke at first."

Nikki Luecker has been a Wheel of Fortune fan since her childhood. "I've been a fan since I have been real young, since I have been putting Christmas ornaments on the tree that said Wheel of Fortune."

Jean Luecker, Nikki's mom went with as her guest.  "So you brought her up with Pat and Vanna? Yes I did. Did you know that Vanna wears a different gown on every show? That is what I have been told."

As of now, that is about 6,000 gowns and counting, and we keep counting the claps as well.   Vanna says she is in the Guinness Book Of World Records.  "Most frequent clapper, I have clapped more than anyone. I have clapped more than anyone over three million times over thirty years."

Pat Sajak, was very honest to CBS 21's Kirk Clyatt about his time as a TV weatherman.  "When I was through with my weather days, I was real happy."

Amazing more than 30 years for Wheel and no end in sight.

We can't show you too much of what happened during the shows, but it is always fun to see someone win a brand new car. We had great access to both Pat and Vanna. We were also able to catch up with Harry Friedman who is the Executive Producer of both Wheel and Jeopardy.

We'll have a complete series of reports the week the shows run coming up in May.
