Rebate checks are in the mail for people who took advantage of the cash for clunkers program at a Cumberland County car dealership.
Three people received a $150 rebate check from Brenner Nissan in Mechanicsburg today. In all, 106 car buyers will be getting the money.
Under the program the salvage yards that teamed up with the dealership gave $200 back to Brenner, which kept some of the money. Brenner decided to give the rest to its customers as a reward.
CEO Mike Brenner says he's pleased with how the program benefited the company. The company says it will pay out almost 16-thousand dollars to all who participated in the program.
