Glove compartments and vehicles gone through, numerous items stolen

York Area Regional Police are investigating numerous reports of thefts from vehicles.

The incidents have taken place in the area of Chapelwood Estates near Locust Grove Elementary School. During the overnight hours on Tuesday and Wednesday, residents reported their cars being gone through.

Items stolen include GPS units, a set of Cleveland Gold Clubs, a flashlight, knives, a firearm and cash.

Residents are encouraged to call 911 immediately if they see anything suspicious, remove items of value from parked vehicles and lock your doors!
