Harrisburg School District Chief Recovery Officer Gene Veno has requested an extension for the submission of a recovery plan for the school district.
Harrisburg School District was placed into financial distress on December 12, and Veno was appointed to his position.
Veno has asked for an additional 45 days, until April 26, to complete his plans for the financial and academic recovery of the Harrisburg School District in order to develop a more detailed and effective plan.
