A historic covered bridge in Lancaster County is reopened to traffic tonight.

County commissioners officially reopened the log cabin bridge during a ribbon cutting ceremony this morning

The bridge located near the Warwick-West Earl Township line is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Log Cabin Road Bridge was restored with its old timbers which date back to 1849, along with new timbers to replace the deteriorated pieces.
