I am curious about this article and yet for some reason not surprised. I started receiving solicitations for Veteran Home Mortgage Loans about 4 years ago in the amount of $477,000.00, which is not unusual except for the fact that I have NEVER been a veteran. I am a 57 year old woman who has been on disability for years but and I repeat NEVER have I been in the service. More recently about 1 year ago my husband also started to receive the same type of solicitation from the Veterans Administration for the same type of home loan and once again my husband has never been a veteran. Where this information was obtained from is mystery to us. Every couple of months we receive an application for the home loans. Maybe prior to offering Home Loans to non veterans the Administration should clean their house from top to bottom. Sincerely Someone who has not earned the right to the loan.
