A former eastern Pa dog breeder will go on trial for animal cruelty charges after withdrawing his guilty plea.
CBS 21 News was there when members of the SPCA brought hundreds of dogs from Almost Heaven kennel to the Farm Show Complex in June.
Authorities raided the kennel run by Derbe Eckhart in the Allentown area and found dozens of dogs living in filthy conditions. They also found dozens of the corpses of animals in the freezer.
