Lebanon County man killed after trying to beat train through crossing
Pennsylvania State Police say that around 12:30am Saturday morning, 23-year-old Brett Potteiger of Richland, PA was walking north on Main Street as a Norfolk Southern train was approaching from the east traveling west.
Potteiger ran and attempted to beat the train across the crossing. He was struck by the train and died.
Police are still investigating.
