An artillery live-fire exercise will take place between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Friday, March 22; 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. on Saturday, March 23; and 8 a.m. and noon on Sunday, March 24 at Fort Indiantown Gap in Lebanon County.
Live-fire exercises using 105- and 155-millimeter artillery, conducted approximately six times a year, are announced in advance as a courtesy to nearby residents.
Fort Indiantown Gap is the only live-fire, maneuver military training facility in Pennsylvania. It serves as headquarters to the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and Pennsylvania National Guard.
