A Dover Township man is facing charges for threatening a group with a gun.
Police say on March 16, a group of people were on Nittany Drive near Broughton Drive, while they waited on a friend. The group got out of the car and walked towards a nearby park.
Police say the group was approached by five people, wearing hooded sweatshirts and bandanas over their faces. One man approached a female victim and held a black handgun to her head.
According to police, the man threatened the woman and struck her several times in the face. Police say the rest of the group took the male victims to the ground and kicked them.
The victims told police the group fled the scene. They identified one of the victims through his voice and his appearance as Tyler Preston Grimes, 18, of 4249 Marlborough Road. They also told police the suspect holding the gun was Grimes.
Grimes was arrested at his home, and was taken to York County Prison in lieu of $1,000,000 bail.
