Mayor Bracey to announce her bid for re-election Thursday evening
At 6 p.m., the Mayor of the City of York will officially launch her bid for re-election.
Bracey is the first elected African-American Mayor in York.
She was elected in 2009.
We expect she'll talk about her first term, consolidating city offices under one roof, launching six new neighborhood policing units and collecting delinquent sewer accounts to make money for the city.
She is being challenged by City Council President Carol Hill-Evans and political novice Joe Beltrante, who is a property re-developer.
