Even the NRA thinks this story is a bunch of BS http://www.nraila.org/news-issues/articles/2012/federal-law-enforcement-agencies-buy-ammunition.aspx If you can't even get the NRA to buy into your conspiracy theory, you are way, way out there. This story should be filed between stories about Bigfoot and crop circles.

This story is poorly written. The DHS did NOT buy 1.6 billion bullets. That is an Internet email rumor started by some doomsday prepper from his bunker (seriously). If ammo is in short supply it's because all the Preppers are buying it up left and right. Stop spreading stupid Internet rumors.
