Police investigate robbery at Merle Norman Cosmetics
The Derry Township Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened Thursday at Merle Norman Cosmetics.
Police were called to the store around 3 Thursday afternoon.
Witnesses tell police a white male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, entered the store and demanded money from the cash register. According to police, the man was holding a hammer.
The clerk told police the male was somewhere in between the ages of 16-25. He was also wearing a multi-colored cloth over the lower half of his face.
The suspect fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash.
