Police perform surprise search of cars, lockers find marijuana, alcohol and tobacco
Several local police departments conducted a surprise search of student cars and lockers at Red Land High School on Monday.
The search found marijuana, alcohol and tobacco products on school property.
Fairview Township Police investigated the items found and charges are pending against two students.
Along with Fairview Township Police, Newberry Township Police, Springettsbury Township Police and the York Area Regional Police Department all participated in the search.
