That's how governor rendell is remembering lieutenant governor catherine baker knoll on the anniversary of her death.
Knoll passed away of complications with neuroendocrine cancer one year ago today. She was Pennsylvania's first female Lietenant Governor. Governor Rendell released the following statement on his friend saying.
"She fought for all Pennsylvanians throughout her decades of public service, as she fought her illness to the very end. Her partnership was invaluable, and she is deeply missed.
