Rita's helps everyone celebrate beginning of Spring, despite cold weather

While we didn't get any high temperatures to show that spring has arrived, there was one sign in Central Pennsylvania.

Rita's in many areas opened for business after being closed throughout the winter.

For 21 years now, Rita's has kicked off the Spring season by giving out free water ices to their customers.

Wednesday, thousands gathered at locations across the area to enjoy their frozen treat, even if it was still freezing outside.

Rita's will be open until October for all the Italian water ices and frozen custard you could need.
