A fire at an apartment building in Lancaster was the second one in less than eight months.

The fire started around 640 p.m., and when fire crews arrived was quickly upgraded to second alarm as flames were through the roof.

The apartment, located at 516 East Chestnut Street, was unoccupied, and no one was injured in the blaze.

Back on August 3, a fire forced residents to toss a baby out of a second story window to save its life.

Neighbors say the home is a blight to the area, and should be torn down.

The Fire Marshal is investigating exactly what caused the fire.
