@Rodney - Actually, yes, PA legalizing does make it legal in PA - The constitution gives Congress and the President specific powers, none of which are the regulation of what people can have or own - the rest of the powers of government are left to the states - Therefore, if your state makes ANYTHING legal or illegal - it is legal or illegal in that state.

impeachment for threatening to veto legalizing marijuana? Wow, you do know that it is illegal at the federal level and that passing a law in Pa. doesn't make it legal. Currently the feds aren't going to enforce the laws in the states that have legalized it but they can. Maybe you should write your congressman and tell him why we need to legalize pot!

So I guess the first step is to get rid of CORBET. Thank you Senator Leach for actually representing the people.

Sorry kenny, there won't be any of that "will of the people" nonsense in Pennsylvania. The "public" authorities say to the State's residents: "You're not the boss of us!" http://ballotpedia.org/wiki/index.php/Pennsylvania

Prohibition is a sham, and individuals like Corbett who perpetuate the insane idea that we should continue spending billions upon billions to fight this un-winnable war should be hung out to dry for the acute damage they have caused. During alcohol prohibition, all profits went to enrich criminals and corrupt politicians. Young men died every day on inner-city streets while battling over turf. A fortune was wasted on enforcement that could have gone on education, etc. On top of the budget-busting prosecution and incarceration costs, billions in taxes were lost. Finally, the economy collapsed. Sound familiar? Prohibitionists and their criminal friends who live in a crack-house called Congress are having a ball—and it's all on our tab!
