The 'Hooters' off of Route 30 abruptly closed earlier this week, leaving many wondering why and what's next for the building.

There are no more short shorts and cleavage to welcome guests.  Now a sign that reads, "Closed for good...for now." welcomes customers to the now closed restaurant off of Route 30.
no more short shorts and cleavage to welcome guests…

Workers have reported being surprised by the sudden closing and the job loss.

Cornett Hospitality operates several 'Hooters Restaraunts', including this one.  They filed for bankruptcy last year, which led to the closing of this restaurant.

But this 'Hooters and one in Virginia, have historically preformed well.  So one idea for many, is another company could purchase it and re-open it.

We did reach out to the owners for comment and to see what they could tell us about the future, but we did not get a call back.
