TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran is protesting a scholarship that's been set up at a British college.

The scholarship was established in memory of the Iranian student who was killed during the mass street protests that followed Iran's disputed elections in June.

The woman's dying moments were caught on a video that was seen by millions on the Internet. She became a potent symbol of the opposition's struggle.

The Neda Agha Soltan Graduate Scholarship in Philosophy is being offered by Oxford University's Queen's College.

An Iranian news agency says a small group of women demonstrated in front of the British Embassy in Tehran today against the scholarship.

Iran has accused Britain of playing a role in the protests that followed the presidential election. And Iranian diplomats in London today say the scholarship is linked to that interference.
