Recap: Cal Poly vs. Pacific
San Luis Obispo, CA (Sports Network) - Chris Eversley came off the bench to register a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds to guide Cal Poly to a commanding 67-38 win over Pacific in a Big West Conference clash at Mott Gym.
Also scoring in double figures for the Mustangs (17-14, 8-8 Big West) was Will Taylor with 10 points in just 17 minutes of action as the team closed out the regular season with consecutive wins.
The Tigers (11-18, 6-10) failed to have a single player score in double figures, with Travis Fulton coming close with nine points to go along with his six rebounds in a third straight setback for the program.
Cal Poly shot an impressive 57.1 percent from the floor in the first half, providing the hosts with a 33-24 advantage at the break.
In the second half Pacific dipped from 43.5 percent accuracy over the first 20 minutes of action to a mere 18.2 percent from the field, permitting Cal Poly to run away with the win.
