The Central PA Chapter of the Hobby Greenhouse Assoc.
will hold a meeting on Saturday, March 3, 2018, 9:00am at the
Lower Allen Township Building, 2233 Gettysburg Road, Camp
Hill. John Darby, of the Horn Farm, a Center for Agriculture
Education, will be presenting a program about The Hugelkutur
gardening technique. Hugelkultur are no-dig raised beds with a
difference. They hold moisture, build fertility, maximize surface
volume, and are great spaces for growing fruit ,vegetables, and
herbs. Hugelkultur, pronounced Hoo-gul-culture, means hill
culture or hill mound. A brief business meeting will follow.
